A glimpse.
The Optimiseur
The discovery of time management and its benefits came in my childhood, almost matching my love of learning. As a teenager, I was already organising myself to study with systems. It was a hard and thorough work, but successful and rewarding. After reading political science for my first degree and European legislation for my second, I earned two master’s degrees in European public policy and management of European affairs. It took me 6 years. I later obtained a Certificate in Investments (SII Level 3) and, more recently, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner Certificate.
My career started in strategic communication. Over the years, it evolved through my experiences in start-ups and well-established companies with roles as diverse as lobbyist and communication specialist, event and project manager, office manager and executive assistant to CEO, director, company secretary and general manager – sometimes all in the same position when a job needed to be done. Also, an opportunity to learn new skills and tune existing ones was -and is- always welcome. I just thrive on being productive and enjoy having many projects on the go! My track record now covers over two decades of managing companies and clients affairs, and setting up system to boost their efficiency.
For years, friends and colleagues have approached me for advice on improving their modus operandi, both in their private and professional lives. This has led me to offer my services as an Optimiseur. The key is to get the right balance of structure, mindset, flexibility, and creativity. This is when you find your flow, and each is unique to you. To find this flow, I combine years of professional experience with a down-to-earth approach to life, and with practical solutions and systems. The results: a more efficient and effective daily organisation, as well as boosted confidence and positive thinking.
So let’s find and optimise your flow.
The Storyteller
French-born, I moved to London more than twenty years ago. I discovered there my writer’s voice and love of storytelling. A passionate reader of all kinds of literature, I like creating in different genres for books and screenplays- both in French and English (why not?!).
I first wrote The Fog Chronicles collection, a work of speculative fiction composed of six serialised novels published in two volumes: Gatekeepers, and its sequel, Horizons. Set against a backdrop intertwining alternate reality with ours, The Fog Chronicles is also a captivating tale of friendship and self-discovery with unexpected characters, twists of history and quantum leaps. I then wrote Résilience, a French novel based on a true story in the 1940’s in the South of France. A conventional young woman falls in love with a brilliant, free-thinking lawyer opposing the Nazis in Court. Betrayed, the Gestapo sends him to the death camps. While he fights for his survival, she sets on a different path of resistance and a quest for answers. Upon his return, they face a hard choice, which is the ultimate test for their relationship: personal justice versus integrity.
A decade ago, a film director asked me to read and comment on a script, and then rewrite it. I was immediately hooked on screenwriting. I have since adapted my books into TV Series screenplays: Gatekeepers is a fast-paced sci-fi adventure thriller, and Backbone is the TV drama version of my 1940’s novel. Besides these TV Series, I am also collaborating with directors and production companies for several feature films: Siam- a Thai thriller blending action and mystery, The Wife Collector- the moving story of the most married man in the UK, and, last but certainly not least, Turkish Delights- a thriller that takes place in the glamourous Istanbul and its dark underbelly.
I am planning to surprise, thrill, and move my readers and audience with many more books and screenplays.
Stories must be told.
